Love Is

Love is not conditional. It is not finite. It takes from no one or nothing. Love is infinite. It is ever giving, ever expanding, ever transforming. Love is power, it breathes as it feeds and it needs nothing but our willingness to be and let love in.

The idea that love is indifferent to injustice is a distortion intended to keep us from aligning with the only thing we need:

Love.

Love is simultaneously the burning building and the man who says let my building burn.

Love.

Love is not weak or stingy or incapable of holding multiple truths at the very same time. Love looks for itself and is open to being transformed by what it finds.

If it feels like lack - then it isn’t quite love yet.

But even in lack, love is still there; waiting in the wings.

Love doesn’t judge us because love is of us.

To the people of my people I’ve been starting to suspect That what they told us about love Was always for us to correct Cause what they told us about love Is a love I cannot detect! Would you look at all these these C’mon let us introspect…

To the people of my people

I’ve been starting to suspect

That what they told us about love

Was always for us to correct

Cause what they told us about love

Is a love I cannot detect!

Would you look at all these these

C’mon let us introspect…
